Lifeguard (On-Call)

This on-call lifeguard position at Sandy Cove Ministries pools facilitates a safe and enjoyable experience for pool patrons. Responsibilities include maintaining pool safety, enforcing rules, responding to emergencies, cleaning, and being familiar with health and safety guidelines. The position requires a physically fit individual capable of handling varied duties.

Requirements

• Current lifeguard certification by a recognized certifying agency (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA)
• Current First Aid certification by a recognized certifying agency (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA)
• Current CPR certification by a recognized certifying agency (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA)
• Responsible, adaptable, and flexible in dealing with last minute changes
• Willingness to work weekdays, holidays and evenings and weekends as necessary
• Physically fit
• Physical demands: standing, walking, sitting, using hands, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, talking, hearing, lifting up to 50 pounds.
