CARE ACCESS SUPERVISOR

The Care Access Supervisor oversees same day clinic operations and supervises support staff to ensure timely patient access, efficient workflows, and high-quality care delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years working in a healthcare environment required
• One year of supervisory experience is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Possess a deep understanding of clinic operations and workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
• Fluency in Spanish speaking preferred
• Possess a solid understanding of the nursing process and apply critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of electronic medical records and tracking systems; EPIC experience preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Strong understanding of ambulatory care visit types
• Bilingual Spanish and English required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrates knowledge of compliance issues within the community clinic environment
• Maintains confidentiality of patients at all times
• Sensitivity to and willingness to interact with people of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
