Job Description
We are looking for an Expert DevOps Engineer who combines deep technical expertise with hands-on leadership to join our Lifecycle Management team in Sofia. The role will act as the technical anchor for the team, driving decisions across systems, shaping how platform components are owned and evolved, and enabling the team to operate with autonomy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD architectures and pipeline ecosystems
- Advanced understanding of Kubernetes components (e.g. controllers, ingress, cert-manager)
- Proficiency in programming / scripting languages such as Python, Go or Bash (or similar)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible or similar)
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native technologies
- Strong understanding of system lifecycle management at scale (upgrades, compatibility, deprecation strategies)
- Ability to drive technical direction and decisions in ambiguous environments
- Experience leading cross-team initiatives and system ownership transitions
- Experience working in agile, collaborative environments with distributed international teams
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in evolving environments
- Excellent team player, passionate about his/her work, self-motivated and driven
- Excellent communication skills in English
