Senior DevOps Engineer for SAP Cloud Infrastructure Lifecycle Management Team

SAP is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Lifecycle Management team in Sofia, Bulgaria. The successful candidate will be responsible for building enterprise cloud infrastructure, designing and improving CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting complex issues across multiple layers. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD systems, and Infrastructure as Code tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Go or other languages for building complex automation workflows
• Deep hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (e.g. Concourse, Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible or similar)
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native technologies
• Experience working in agile, collaborative environments with distributed international teams
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in evolving environments
• Excellent team player, passionate about his/her work, self-motivated and driven
• Excellent communication skills in English
