Site Safety Manager

Sargent Electric Company is seeking a Site Safety Manager to support our Sunflower Sky Solar project. The position is a temporary (six months) or temporary-to-full-time opportunity for a candidate willing to travel to multiple jobsites.

Requirements

• Provide general safety training to all personnel at the site and maintain training records
• Develop, implement, and enforce a high-quality safety program
• Assist leadership in developing causal factors for all Near Miss and other incidents
• Develop corrective actions for each causal factor utilizing the Hierarchy of Controls
• Evaluate effectiveness of safety programs through daily field walks and compliance auditing
• Collaborate with other safety professionals on the overall jobsite
• Perform weekly toolbox talks with employees
• Onboard all new employees and conduct the new hire orientation and training as required
