Job Description
Saronic Technologies is revolutionizing defense autonomy at sea, developing state-of-the-art solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD). This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills to kit and airbrush fiberglass & foam cores, interpreting engineering drawings, collaborating with engineers, and contributing to process improvements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a CNC programmer/operator at a high-rate boat building factory
- Strong experience with CAM software (Fusion 360, Mastercam, NX, or equivalent)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T
- Comfortable working in a startup or fast-paced R&D environment
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to identify differences between different fiberglass types and designs
