Job Description
Saronic Technologies is seeking an M&P Engineer - Composites to lead the testing and development of composite materials into their maritime platforms. This role focuses on optimizing lightweight, high-performance composites for DoD requirements and requires alignment with industry standards. The engineer will develop test programs, analyze data, and support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Lead and support composite material allowables development programs (CMH-17, FAA, ABS, or other relevant guidelines)
- Define, execute, and analyze test programs to generate A- and B-basis allowables
- Develop and implement material and process specifications
- Provide technical support for composite fabrication, inspection, and process control
- Author test plans and roadmaps
- Author material and process specifications
- Document and maintain material property databases
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action
