Test Engineer

Saronic Technologies, a leader in defense autonomy at sea, seeks a skilled Test Engineer to join their team. This role involves improving multi-disciplinary systems for developing autonomous vehicle concepts and prototypes, including engineering, designing, and testing mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software-driven systems. The ideal candidate will leverage engineering principles to solve technical problems and contribute to the creation of autonomous vehicle platforms.

Requirements

• BS in mechatronics engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, robotics, or similar.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding and skills in engineering fundamentals, best practices, and analysis methods.
• Field experience operating, maintaining, diagnosing, testing, and repairing electro-mechanical systems.
• CAD modeling parts and assemblies.
• Finite element analysis (FEA) experience.
• Ability to work in collaborative or independent environments.
• Autonomous vehicle experience or Marine systems experience preferred.
• Maritime operations experience preferred.
• Generating drawings, schematics, bill of materials, and work instructions.
• Software skills including Linux, Python, C/C++
