Sartorius is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist (BioAnalytics) for a remote-based position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales results of mid-size and large accounts in a defined territory and for developing strong customer relations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in life sciences or engineering and 3+ years of field sales experience. The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of SFDC and other CRM tools, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Requirements
- Promote the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range or key account to achieve sales and revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities aligned with the organization's overall market and growth strategy
- Actively use SFDC to manage and document leads and opportunities, all customer interactions and sales activities
- Analyze SFDC data for assigned customers to identify trends, generate customer insights and track sales performance
- Assess and analyze customer needs, generate leads, respond to customer inquiries and suggest products and services as appropriate
- Develop and implement account plans and request and coordinate resources in line with the account plans
- Work closely with cross-functional team to create higher market perception and successful strategies to gain business from an account
- Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in assigned territory
- Frequently assess the potential of each customer and plan to realize it into business
- Manage and build strong customer relationships for long term partnership
