The Store Manager is responsible for creating an excellent shopping experience for all customers, driving sales growth & profitability, and establishing an engaging work environment for all team members.
Requirements
- Provides leadership, coaching and development to their store team members regarding their tasks, duties, role requirements and performance standards
- Creates a positive, safe, and clean store environment for team members and customers
- Recruits talented, highly motivated, committed team members with positive attitudes
- Trains, develops, mentors, and coaches all team members to success within their roles
- Ensures the store operates according to the operational standards set forth by the company
- Maintains a clean, safe and secure work environment
- Responsible for key metrics of store operations, including sales, customer counts, margins, labor productivity, shrink and EBITDA metrics
- Analyzes, understands, and utilizes operational/financial data to make appropriate business decisions
- Responsible for merchandising program execution, all plan-o-grams, displays, price signs/tags and COOL signage
- Manages inventory levels to specific metrics of the store
- Responsible for excellent fresh product offering and management
- Acquires Food Safety Certification in accordance with company policies and City/State requirements
- Protects company property, funds and merchandise
- Deals with DSD vendors and holding them accountable to our vendor policies
- Supports competitive environment research
