The First Steps Home Visitor position at SBCS transforms communities to support the well-being and prosperity of children, youth, and families. As a home visitor, you will provide in-home parenting education, conduct strengths-based assessments, and connect clients to community resources.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in child development, early childhood education, psychology or related field preferred
- Minimum two years experience in working with or providing services to families with children prenatally through 5 years of age
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Knowledge of infant and child development
- Experience and humility in working with culturally diverse families
- Acceptance of individual differences
