School Program Youth Leader/Coach

School Program Youth Leader/Coach position at SBCS, working with youth and families, requiring one-year removed from high school graduation and three years removed from graduation/matriculation from SUHSD school. Provides academic, enrichment, and social-emotional well-being for groups of 10-20 youth participating in the after-school program.

Requirements

• Must be one-year removed from high school graduation and three years removed from graduation/matriculation from SUHSD school you are applying to.
• Must meet and provide documentation of the minimum qualifications for Classroom Assistant if candidate does not have 48 college credits.
• AA or BA is highly desirable, passing score on district’s Instructional Assistant Test acceptable.
• Minimum of one year working with youth and/or children is highly desirable.
• Must be highly dependable.
• Must have a warm and friendly personality and the sensitivity to meet the needs of a diverse population.
• Must have the ability to lead sports, games and curriculum activities, and monitor behavior.
• Ability to provide leadership and stability to the program.
