Job Description
SBCS is seeking a Supervised Visitation Monitor to provide services to culturally diverse families and/or individuals in San Diego. The ideal candidate is an advocate for nurturing communities where families can pursue their dreams and fulfill their potential. They must be dedicated to and energized by engaging directly with individuals and communities, and care deeply about the well-being and prosperity of all children and youth.
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. degree in social work, psychology, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in child, youth, and family services field
- Flexibility in attending a required 3-day Supervised Visitation training within the first 30 days of being hired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of the family court system preferred
- Experience in the areas of domestic violence and/or child abuse
- Fluent Spanish speaker with the ability to read and write in Spanish and English
