As an AMR Systems Engineer, you will work closely with our Sales, Applications, Engineering and Aftermarket teams to deliver business value to our end users and OEM partners. System Engineers design and implement fleets of OTTO (or similar) autonomous mobile robots (AMR) and software at our customer facilities.
Requirements
- Commissioning & integration of AMR systems at client facilities throughout North America
- Daily on-site support at customer sites to capture issues and support system optimization efforts
- Support detailed solutions design of AMR systems to meet the customer requirements
- Author and execute acceptance test plans for validation of system functionality and performance
- Optimize system performance through analysis, simulation, and experimentation
- Project planning for the deliverables and work packages you own
- Communicate technical details and status to the customer and broader project team
- Deliver training to Pacteon staff, integration partners and end-users
- Troubleshoot software & hardware technical issues using internal tools available
- Author new product requirements based on the lessons learned from your design and commissioning activities
- Work with the engineering team to improve department tools, processes, and working relationships with other departments
- Provide advanced technical support to customers, partners, and internal teams
