We are a team of around 130 employees who develop and manufacture parts, machines, and equipment for the production companies of SCHOTT AG and external customers worldwide. The order management/preparation is responsible for organizing our production processes and works closely with the production departments and development departments of the BUs as well as R&D.
Requirements
- Demand-driven capacity and order planning for the organizational unit
- Ensuring timely procurement of external services and materials
- Responsibility for warehouse management, material provision, and shipment of parts
- Cost calculation, performance billing, and invoicing
- Cooperation with internal clients to create demand forecasts
- Participation in projects for setting up or repairing new production lines
- Support of development projects as well as planning and control of the organization
- Participation in improvement projects and development of the order planning system
- Responsibility for sub-projects including planning, control, and implementation in accordance with time, budget, and quality targets
- Leadership, promotion, and motivation of a team of around 10 employees
- Conducting employee interviews, personnel development, and succession planning
