Job Description
The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center is looking for a Janitor to maintain the overall general housekeeping of the hospital, including sanitizing spaces, trash and medical waste disposal, and providing support for inclement weather duties.
Requirements
- High School/GED
- Janitorial Service Certificate of Education is a plus
- Ability to read and understand signs and labels written in English
- Some similar experience preferred
- Ability to be flexible and able to perform more than one task at a time
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to operate tools and equipment used in janitorial work
- Must have knowledge of proper use and care of mechanical cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA and Safety requirements
