Perform rehabilitation treatments, assess patients, communicate with clients and veterinarians, maintain records, and assist with department tasks.
Requirements
- NYS Veterinary Technician’s license (or permit)
- Ability to handle and restrain all species of animal
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend or kneel for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work successfully as part of a team
- Must also be able work independently and proactively
- Basic computer skills a must
- Ability to correctly complete large amount of paperwork
- CCRP (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner) or CCRA (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistant) is preferred but not required
