Job Description
The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in Surgery to support the non-profit mission of delivering world-class care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a New York State Veterinary Technician's license or permit, advanced anesthesia skills, and experience with animal handling and restraint.
Requirements
- New York State Veterinary Technician's license or permit
- Advanced anesthesia skill set
- Ability to lift and restrain animals weighing up to 50 pounds
- Experience working with animals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
