Senior Engineering Technician

Role Overview

Leading the design, development, and testing of complex systems and components to ensure they meet operational and technical requirements. Overseeing the installation, testing, and evaluation of hardware and software systems, ensuring compliance with performance standards.

What You Will Do

Preparing and maintaining detailed technical documentation, including system evaluations, risk analyses, and operation manuals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, develop solutions, and implement system upgrades.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience in an engineering technician role
• Bachelor’s degree in operations research, mathematics, physics, computer science, financial management, or other technical field
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, test, and evaluate complex mechanical, electronic, or data processing systems in compliance with DoD standards
• Skilled in performing advanced troubleshooting and system testing to identify and resolve issues impacting performance and reliability
• Experience managing projects requiring configuration management, testing, and integration of hardware/software solutions to meet mission-critical needs
• Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance
