Job Description
Join Scotiabank's Global Banking and Markets team as an Associate - Investment Banking, Financial Sponsors Group in New York. Support execution across M&A, leveraged finance, and sponsor-backed transactions while contributing to relationship management for private equity clients.
Requirements
- 2+ years of investment banking experience, preferably at the associate level, ideally in financial sponsors or leveraged finance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Strong financial modeling skills, including LBO modeling and underwriting memo preparation.
- Deep understanding of U.S. leveraged loan and high‐yield markets.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- High attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required FINRA registrations.
