Job Description
ScotiTech, a new tech hub in BogotĆ”, Colombia, is seeking a Backend Software Engineer Associate. The role contributes to the success of a specific chapter within Scotiabank Peru, focusing on executing assigned goals and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, maintainable software solutions, fostering a customer-focused culture, and contributing to the development of new platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 4 years of industry experience or more.
- Experience with Java, Javascript, Spring, Node.js, SQL, Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, and Gradle.
- Strong understanding of banking mainframe systems and related technologies.
- Experience with Front-end development.
- Experience with security and cryptography.
