Job Description
Join ScotiaTech, Scotiabank's new and innovative Technology hub in Bogota, as a Software Engineer Associate. This role involves direct interaction with users to resolve software-related challenges, providing system analysis, object-oriented design/programming, and technical documentation. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in backend services/APIs and front-end/UI development, including security and infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3+ years of technical working experience in systems analysis, design, development, unit testing, and debugging
- Experience in the use of Bit Bucket, GIT, Gradle, Jira, Confluence or similar tool(s) for building Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Technical working experience in an agile environment
- Experience with Core Java, Java Servlet, JDBC, JavaScript, Spring Boot, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS, React, UNIX shell scripting, SQL & relational databases
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
