Software Engineer Specialist role at ScotiaTech in Bogota, Colombia, working in the Global Banking and Markets Engineering team, delivering and enhancing new and current solutions and applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or relevant experience
- 5+ years on Java 17 and J2EE
- 3-5 years on Spring framework, and spring-boot, spring-integration
- Nice to have: 3-5 years on Streaming architecture such as Kafka, Elastic Search and comfortably working on integration it with Spring.
- ORM framework and JPA
- Tibco MQ and JMS connection
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Python scripting is highly desirable
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Web architecture such as JavaScript, JQuery, Angular, Vue, HTML, CSS
- Experience with capital market trading platform, ION REPO platform, are strong asset
- Proficient with Unix Tools, shell scripting, SQL queries, PL/SQL, and SQL Loader - or equivalent
