Job Description
ScotiaTech is seeking a Software Engineer Specialist to join their growing technology hub in Bogota, Colombia, servicing the Cash Management application for commercial and corporate customers. This role involves implementing solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and other cloud technologies within a fast-paced, inclusive, and high-performing team. The specialist will work closely with developers in Toronto and India.
Requirements
- Experience working with authenticated, customer focused applications
- Experience in Core Java, Java 8, Java 17
- Experience with JSF, Spring Core framework
- Experience with Spring, Spring boot, JDBC
- Experience with WebSphere and Linux OS
- Experience with React or Redux
- Experience working with JSON-web-token authorization
- Experience with database technology such as Sybase
- Experience in working with scalable containerized systems in public cloud (Azure, Kubernetes)
- Strong experience with APM tools (Dynatrace, Splunk)
- Proficiency in code versioning tools (Git)
- Comfortable using Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Bitbucket
