Job Description
ScotiaTech is seeking a Software Engineer Specialist to work on transformation, architecture, development and support of applications globally. This role reports to a Sr. Development Manager, leading a department focused on high-visibility initiatives. The company is a technology hub within ScotiaGBS and prioritizes innovation, collaboration, and a positive work environment.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience working with Java/J2EE and .NET
- 6+ year of experience with design code and deploying REST and SOAP services
- 6+ years experience with PL/SQL and RDBMS, Microsoft SQL (2014+)
- 5+ years experience using Linux or Unix, including scripting
- 3+ years experience with modern continuous deployment pipelines (TFS, Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins)
- 3+ years experience with front end frameworks like JS, React, Angular
- Strong configuration skills
