Job Description
Join Scotiabank's Global Banking and Markets team as a Senior Analyst, Business Risk Management, to design and strengthen risk and control frameworks, and execute core risk activities. You will contribute to the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational risks across business lines and support functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Finance or Business related fields
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on Global Capital Markets, Global Business Payments and/or Corporate & Investment Banking
- Strong understanding of financial products, front-to-back processes, and business operations
- Deep knowledge of operational risk frameworks, including scenario analysis, issue management, and operational risk events
- Experience developing and maintaining risk governance tools, such as control libraries, policies, and procedures
