Engineer, Front Structure

Scout Motors is revolutionizing the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by electrifying and digitizing the iconic American brand, Scout. As an Engineer, Front Structure, you will lead the sheet metal design and release of front structure stampings and assemblies for new products, ensuring innovative and optimized solutions for Scout trucks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in the design of BIW structures, including all three phases of product development (design, test and launch)
• Skilled in utilizing CATIA for designing and developing detailed parts
• Strong technical skills and expertise in sheet metal design, coupled with a 1st principles approach to problem solving
• Familiarity with computer-aided engineering (CAE) or direct experience in this field
• Ability to build strong working relationships with people across all organizational levels
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and suppliers
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., MATLAB, Minitab, Excel)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
