The Patient Services Representative is responsible for warmly welcoming patients, managing patient appointments, verifying insurance information, and ensuring accurate patient registration. The role requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers and staff.
The Patient Services Representative will perform various administrative functions, including scheduling appointments, verifying patient insurance benefits, registering patients, and collecting copayments. They will also provide patients with receipts for payments and assist with completing necessary forms.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience working in a dental office setting. Prior experience delivering services to persons with histories of homelessness, mental illness, substance dependence, and trauma is also a plus.
