Intern - Manufacturing Engineering

Role Overview

The Intern - Manufacturing Engineering will work with Manufacturing Engineers to improve productivity and efficiency by eliminating wastefulness in production processes. This role will involve designing and implementing new processes and tooling, as well as working with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to ensure process controls are in place.

Responsibilities include improving and managing manufacturing processes, developing efficient ways to utilize employees and machinery, designing and implementing new processes and tooling, and working with teams to ensure process controls are in place.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
• Three plus years completed coursework towards major with three years relevant experience and/or training
• Knowledge of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software
• AutoCAD and Inventor experience with Solid Modeling and 3D design experience preferred
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as heavy equipment manufacturing, welding technology, control panel, materials technology, manufacturing methods technology preferred
