Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician position at Sealed Air's Streetsboro Plastics Operations. Responsibilities include mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and support for contract labor. Qualifications include mechanical experience, 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, and experience with extrusion lines and presses.

Requirements

• Mechanical Experience Preferred
• 3 - 5 years industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with extrusion lines, slitters, presses, laminators and material handling systems
• Mechanical, pneumatic and preventative maintenance experience
• Ability to make precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, pi-tapes etc.
• Basic understanding of machining processes such as lathe, milling, surface grinding, gear and keyway cutting, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and ability to use general machinist handbooks
• Use of basic hand tools and power tools
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems
• Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of Windows applications and SAP transactions experience
