Job Description
Seaspan is constructing two 174-meter-long Joint Support Ships (JSS) for the Royal Canadian Navy and a new Polar Icebreaker, along with the offshore research vessel. Requirements
- Red Seal Metal Fabrication
- 5+ years of fabrication experience
- CWB all position FCAW Tacking Ticket preferred
- ITA Marine Fitter Endorsement ideal
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints
- Proficiency in layout and fabrication of metal structural parts
- Proficiency in jacks, turnbuckles, and fairing tools
- Flexibility to work all shifts
