We are seeking a tech-savvy, natural relationship builder who is keen to make a difference through applying their strong skills and experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist II. This role supports recruitment for critical, hard-to-fill roles across operations, engineering, technology, supply chain, and leadership positions.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, preferably in-house in large, diverse organizations
- Experience in the Shipbuilding, Construction, and/or Manufacturing industry is an asset
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing
- Experience in strategic sourcing, including social media outreach (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Facebook groups), leveraging network contacts of Hiring Managers and Employees, and other creative sources
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), with a preference for Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), including best practices for sourcing, screening, and interviewing
- Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Maintains a high level of integrity and confidentiality when managing sensitive information
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint are definite requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive mindset focused on delivering exceptional service to Hiring Managers and Candidates
