Job Description
We are looking for a mid-level Software Development Engineer with a strong foundation in card payment processing and payments infrastructure. You'll help build and scale the systems that manage Seated's growing network of restaurants and their transactions.
Requirements
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that reliably manage merchant accounts, transactions, and attribution logic
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into wellâimplemented, deterministic workflows and services
- Build reliable, faultâtolerant distributed systems with strong coding, testing, observability, performance, and reliability practices
- Contribute to technical design for highâperformance, serviceâoriented architectures
- Scale backend services and microservices for high throughput and low latency across fastâgrowing payment datasets
