Area Sales Manager (Global region)

Sécheron Hasler Group seeks an Area Sales Manager (Global region) to develop business prospecting new clients and managing current accounts for existing and new products covering railway, renewable energy, and industrial applications. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the sales team, product line managers, product development teams, marketing, and other BU's.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Electrical / Electromechanical / Power Electronics Engineering or alternatively Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven successful track record introducing power products to new international clients, thereby driving key people across the organization.
• Minimum 5 years of successful technical and sales experience in an electrical equipment environment.
• Good knowledge of at least one of the following industry sectors: high voltage, railway traction systems, power transmission & distribution, renewable energy and e-mobility.
• Interest and ability to understand DC and AC power systems and corresponding product needs.
• Excellent analytical, project management and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop convincing communication strategies based on technical rationale.
• Proven ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems.
• Experienced to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent English (written and oral), French and/or German desirable.
• Open to frequent travelling.
