Sales Engineer, Secure Development

Security Journey is hiring a Sales Engineer who will guide prospects and customers through the technical elements of the Security Journey platform, ensuring value, feasibility, and alignment with engineering workflows. The role blends technical expertise, customer empathy, and commercial awareness, influencing deal momentum and helping accounts evaluate the platform effectively.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on coding experience in a professional setting
• Background as a developer, DevSecOps engineer, application security engineer, or similar role
• Ability to speak the language of engineering and hold credible conversations about vulnerability classes, threat models, secure coding patterns, and remediation approaches
• Experience working with developers, AppSec teams, and technical buyers
• Strong communicator who can translate technical depth into clear, value focused narratives
• Experience supporting SaaS sales motions in mid market and enterprise environments
• High preparation standards and ability to tailor demonstrations for specific use cases
• Curiosity, coachability, and low ego orientation
