Senior Software Engineer

SecurityScorecard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Platform team, responsible for owning and evolving foundational systems that power core products, including building scalable services, optimizing infrastructure, and improving internal tooling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Expertise in Node.js and modern development patterns
• Solid experience designing and scaling distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and containerization (Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, New Relic)
• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Excellent communication skills and successful collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Passion for mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and helping teams grow
