Job Description
Clinical Liaison role at Select Specialty Hospital - Miami Lakes, a division of Select Medical, requires a Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) License. The position involves working with physicians, discharge planners, and patients' families to plan the best continuum of care after an ICU or post-surgical stay. The Clinical Liaison will perform clinical assessments of referred patients, counsel with patients' families, and partner with hospital case managers and physicians to create a smooth pre-admission and transfer process.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) License
- Ability to complete clinical assessments of medically complex patients
- Demonstrated success in patient advocacy
- Superior communication and relationship-building skills
- Prior healthcare marketing or business development experience (preferred)
