As a Youth Stabilization Specialist, you will provide daily care, guidance, and emotional support to youth in our program, creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment that promotes emotional, behavioral, and social growth.
Requirements
- Provide continuous supervision, structure, and emotional support to youth
- Implement daily routines, behavioral support strategies, and activities
- Utilize trauma-informed communication and de-escalation techniques
- Intervene in crisis situations following approved agency and CDSS policies
- Participate in incident reviews, safety planning, and staff debriefings
- Coordinate and assist with making transportation arrangements
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide crisis support
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
- Participate in weekly supervision with the program supervisor or designee
