Job Description
Sentara Urgent Care Gloucester is hiring a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant to work in Gloucester, VA. The Medical Assistant will provide patient care tasks, administrative duties, and promote a safe environment. This role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, certification as a Medical Assistant, and Basic Life Support certification within 90 days. Experience in clinical or administrative settings is preferred.
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or EMT Basic Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days from hire
- Clinical/Administrative Experience 1 year preferred
