Job Description
Sentara Medical Group Orthopedic Trauma Specialists Office is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach, VA area. The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or EMT Basic Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days
- 1 year of clinical/administrative experience preferred
