Senior Echocardiographer

Senior Echocardiographer responsible for performing and analyzing advanced echocardiographic procedures, collaborating with physicians and healthcare team, and mentoring junior staff. Requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of echocardiographic techniques and industry standards, strong leadership and communication skills, and 3 years of experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma with experience and certification required, Associate Degree preferred
• Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (or equivalent education) in accordance with IAC Guidelines
• Certification/Licensure: Candidates must have at least one of the four certifications (RDCS, RCCS, RCS, or ACS)
• BLS required
• 3 years of experience required
• adult 2D and 3D transthoracic and transesophageal echo, myocardial strain, contrast (DEFINITY), agitated saline (bubble study), exercise stress echo and dobutamine stress echo required
• Communication with patients and providers required
• Provide accurate diagnostic information required
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of echocardiographic techniques, equipment, and industry standards required
