AI Research - Scientist/ Engineer

Sentient is seeking an AI Research Scientist/Engineer to lead the development of techniques for training language models and agents capable of strategic decision-making in complex environments. The role involves developing novel post-training techniques and improving AI behavior through agentic frameworks, benchmark evaluation, and design. Sentient is building an open-source intelligence network rivaling OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.

Requirements

• Develop and implement novel fine-tuning and reinforcement learning techniques using synthetic data.
• Use these to design agentic systems to improve reasoning skills.
• Create and maintain evaluation frameworks to measure reasoning skills and design new benchmarks.
• Excel at turning research ideas into working code.
