Senior Staff Software Engineer - Observo AI

SentinelOne is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join the Observo.ai team, a company focused on AI-powered data pipeline optimization. The role involves leading the architectural design and technical strategy for high-performance systems, reducing costs, and improving insights for enterprise customers. The ideal candidate is from a distributed systems and data engineering background with a strong understanding of machine learning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on distributed systems, data engineering, or ML infrastructure in high-growth SaaS environments
• Expert-level proficiency in Go, Rust, or Java with a deep understanding of system design patterns, software architecture principles, and performance optimization
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Proven track record leading and scaling data pipelines using technologies like Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or similar
• Deep expertise in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), including both PostgreSQL and Redis
• Advanced experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), MLOps practices, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
