Seqera is a software company that provides tools for scientists to analyze and process data. We are looking for a Bioinformatics Support Engineer to join our Customer Experience team and support researchers working on pressing technical challenges in health and life sciences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing bioinformatics pipelines with Nextflow in an academic or professional setting.
- Comfortable working in a Linux command-line environment and with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Experience using Git/GitHub for code management.
- Curious and eager to learn more about cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and AI tooling/frameworks/workflows.
- Strong communication skills - able to explain technical concepts to a range of users.
- Enjoys solving problems, helping others, and being part of a collaborative team.
