Registered Nurse RN

We are hiring a Registered Nurse RN to provide direct or indirect resident care services, ensuring the safety, comfort, and personal hygiene of residents. The nurse will implement policies and procedures, maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, and advocate for residents and their families.

Requirements

• Current RN California nursing license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Previous gerontological nursing experience
• Two years consecutive experience in the field of nursing
• Knowledge of nursing theory and practice
• Sensitivity and understanding of issues related to aging
• Patience and tact in dealing with the elderly
• Judgment in order to make assessments regarding nursing and medical conditions
• Ability to coordinate interdisciplinary ancillary health service
• Physical skills and ability to perform work that requires continual standing, walking, stooping, bending and lifting of at least 50 pounds
