Job Description
The Paraprofessional provides direct care services to individuals receiving services through SERENITY THERAPEUTIC SERVICES LLC's office. This role involves supporting clients in all aspects of their lives, focusing on social skills, personal hygiene, budgeting, anger management, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe environment. It also includes providing medication administration, facilitating access to resources, and facilitating the development of their health and wellbeing.
Requirements
- Consistent, documented bed monitoring (every 15 minutes in a sleep environment, especially on 3rd shift)
- Ability to accurately document clients' needs and responses
- Transport clients to appointments and outings
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and agencies
- Ability to administer medication and patient records
