Job Description
This role involves providing individualized community-based activities, vocational support, and personal care to adults with developmental disabilities and autism, including those with higher behavioral and medical needs. Responsibilities include direct personal care assistance, behavioral interventions, vocational support, recreational activities, and crisis intervention. The role requires collaboration with families, clinicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and complex behavioral needs
- Ability to provide personal care assistance and hands-on support with ADLs
- Training in behavioral support and de-escalation techniques (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
- High School Diploma or GED
