Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack)

ServiceNow is a global market leader in intelligent cloud-based technology, and we're looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Flow Designer team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you'll build high-quality, scalable software components, design and develop new products and features, and collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into well-architected solutions. You'll work on low-code automation experiences that power workflows across the ServiceNow platform, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Requirements

• Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code
• Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and reusable software components
• Collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into well-architected solutions
• Work on flow designer, which lets you build low-code automation experiences
• 60% Front End (JavaScript, React and Angular) and 40% Back End Development (Java)
• Integrate automated testing into development workflows
• Participate in design and code reviews ensuring best practices in performance, maintainability, and testability
• Develop comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, integration and performance aspects
• Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement by sharing best practices in engineering and quality
• Promote a culture of engineering craftsmanship, knowledge-sharing, and thoughtful quality practices across the team
