Caregiver

D&S Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The caregiver will assist people with their personal hygiene, support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs, and provide total care, including lifting, transferring, and using equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid driver's license held for at least 12 months
• Must have a reliable vehicle with current insurance and registration for use throughout your shift to transport clients to appointments or outings
• All new hires must attend a paid orientation for two weeks, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM
