The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for ensuring clients' treatment programs are consistently implemented, promoting therapeutic relationships, and collaborating with the treatment team to provide effective treatment.
Requirements
- Establishes and maintains therapeutic relationship with clients
- Follows treatment plan goals and interventions
- Collaborates with family and treatment team members
- Educates parents/guardians on reinforcement and intervention information
- Maintains dignity and respect for others
- Prompts safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors
- Reviews participant progress objectively
- Accurately collects behavior data
- Ensures all clinical and residential documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Participates in training from clinical staff
- Completes all mandatory trainings and refreshers
- Provides feedback and training to LST staff
- Attends clinical meetings
- Responsible for providing up to date residential status of participants
- Engages in meetings and provides input
- Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures
